Unknown Future, Robert A Sieczkiewicz

Tried reading my future in all the stars,
Searching for reason my heart wears these scars.
Found that Jupiter didn’t align with Mars,
Love was faulted by some distant quasars.

Not willing to accept, now reading cards.
Pressing hard, hoping to gain some rewards,
Laying them out with all faces skywards,
Confused, thinking I may have them backwards.

These cards now find their way into the fire,
It is I who must explain my desire,
At the cost of instilling my own ire,
For I care not to have a heart so dire.

Resolve to show great love in every day,
With the hope that it too will come my way.
