There’s a Fire that Burns Steadily Within, a poem by Robert A. Sieczkiewicz

There's a Fire that Burns Steadily Within

There’s a Fire that Burns Steadily Within

There’s a fire that burns steadily within
Awaiting the warm softness of your touch
Each day with you a new life we begin
Your morning kiss creates a happy spin
And the sweetness it provides is nonesuch
There’s a fire that burns steadily within
Which allows me to wear a ceaseless grin
An overt sign, I love you very much
Each day with you a new life we begin
Eager to hug you again and again
The peaceful calm I feel when in your clutch
There’s a fire that burns steadily within
Its public display there is no chagrin
Able to admit that you are my crutch
Each day with you a new life we begin
You at my side there’ll always be a win
There cannot be a greater love as such
There’s a fire that burns steadily within
Each day with you a new life we begin
