On the Waves of Love, a poem by Robert A. Sieczkiewicz

On the Waves of Love
On the Waves of Love, Edvard Munch (1896)

On the Waves of Love

With the yellow moon shining up above
Come into my waters my only love
Let my soft warmth surround you completely
Releasing your red desire discretely

Let me brush against you with every wave
To give you that comfort for which you crave
Let me rock you into a land of dreams
So you may be kissed by countless moonbeams

To you my energy I shall release
When I feel that your body is in peace
I will softly place you upon the shore
No other love shall you want evermore

Husband, Father, Grandfather, Lover of all beautiful things. I love to read and write poetry. My favorite hangouts are libraries and museums and yet I love being outdoors. I am a dreamer of things that could be.
