Let Me Love You, a poem by Robert A. Sieczkiewicz

Let Me Love You

Let me turn your deep darkness into light
Let me help you forget the hurting past
Let me love you for more than just tonight

Let me in your heart that I may excite
Let me help you smile if it’s overcast
Let me turn your deep darkness into light

Let me make your everyday be alright
Let me in to make your every dream vast
Let me love you for more than just tonight

Let me say words so a fire will ignite
Let me in so your sorrows will avast
Let me turn your deep darkness into light

Let me in to give many a delight
Let me in to improve the love forecast
Let me love you for more than just tonight

Let me be close to remove any fright
Let me into your life so love can last
Let me turn your deep darkness into light
Let me love you for more than just tonight

Husband, Father, Grandfather, Lover of all beautiful things. I love to read and write poetry. My favorite hangouts are libraries and museums and yet I love being outdoors. I am a dreamer of things that could be.
