Persuasion, a poem by Robert A. Sieczkiewicz

Persuasion, Leonard Campbell (1874)

Persuasion

But if only to savor you
To wallow in your dainty scent
To do what I’m longing to do
But if only to savor you
To stay with you the whole night through
Knowing that I’ll need to repent
But if only to savor you
To wallow in your dainty scent

Husband, Father, Grandfather, Lover of all beautiful things. I love to read and write poetry. My favorite hangouts are libraries and museums and yet I love being outdoors. I am a dreamer of things that could be.
