New Mown Hay

There’s magic in the sweetness of its smell
Giving the sense of a reborn feeling
Here for many moments my heart will dwell
Deeper, deeper my lungs begin to swell
Intoxicating, my head now reeling
There’s magic in the sweetness of its smell
The countless problems it begins to quell
Momentary respite quite appealing
Here for many moments my heart will dwell
Can feel the sun as I escape my shell
The hay I hold is emancipating
There’s magic in the sweetness of its smell
Unworldly magic moments will not sell
A new covenant I am now sealing
Here for many moments my heart will dwell
Of this founded freedom all I will tell
In my heart His love I am now placing
There’s magic in the sweetness of its smell
Here for many moments my heart will dwell
